In loving Memory

Born to holocaust survivor from Poland, Simone’s parents and she arrived to Boyle Heights from Brussels, Belgium where she is originally from. They emigrated via Ellis Island and were sponsored on the Quota System. Simone’s mother instantly got her into show-biz at the tender age of 4. In her words, “I have a dual career, visual/performance artist and union actress-principal roles/all 3 unions. I am a Getty Museum Sponsored Pacific StandardTime Artist included in Lyn Kienholz’s encyclopedia, L.A.Rising/So CAL Artists Before 1980. My works are documented in One Library LGBT Artists National Archives from the 1970s to current.”
