Mark Allen is an artist, educator and curator based in Los Angeles and the founder and executive director of Machine Project. Under his direction Machine has produced over 1000 events, workshops and installations and has worked with the Hammer Museum at UCLA, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver, the Contemporary Art Museum St Louis, and the Walker Museum in Minneapolis. Mark received his MFA in Visual Art from the California Institute of the Arts and is an Associate Professor of Art at Pomona College.
